What speed do I need? Empty
PostSubject: What speed do I need?   What speed do I need? EmptySat Dec 23, 2023 9:09 pm

So, I am going to build a 1:100 HMS Hood. The full size max speed was 59KPH

So at 1:100 scale that would be 0.16 Metres per second.

If I have 4 props, what motors and props do I need?

The idea is to build a near scratch bulit model. And so I need some idea of motor/prop sizes to make this near accurate. I cannot start to cut the model apart until I know what motors I will using so I can print motor housings.  The calculators and have found up to now seem to limit two props.... How to I calculate rpm with 4 props? I hoped that will tell me what motors to chose.....

Then I can 3d print the motor mounting bulkhead.......

That will give me the overall layout of the hill....
