Hi All from South Africa. My Name is Ian and I am at present building an Aerokits Sea Queen from the new Jotika Kit in order to survive retirement. ( The brain cells are still very active). The reason I went for the Sea Queen is that I built one when I …

Hi Guys, I work on the Docks at the St. Francis Yacht Club. I found this boat in the garage. It’s got no markings or logos on it. I’d like to fix it up for our office and obviously to use it in our harbor. Can anyone here tell me anything about it. I had to trash the RC unit it was all rusted and corroded. Thanks for any help y’all can give me.[url=][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Hi from the Fens

Hi all,
Aron has just joined me up with some patience as I was going round in circles.

I'm an ex (now retired) professional modelmaker who now spends Winter doing slot racing and scenic stuff and the Summer doing model boats. I've been a model boater since I was 7, when my Dad's friend gave me a Sea Urchin. I still have it and restored it last year. No RC, original Kako motor, shaft and …

Thu Jun 07, 2018 10:41 pm by scrappy
Hi there,
I have scratch built my first tug, very excited to get it wet
My problem is that I’ve managed to blow my second esc
I was using a 60a brushless esc and matching motor
The batteries are 12v 7.5mah set up in parallel for longer run time
The tug is 43” long and12.5 at the beam and it weighs in at 18 lb empty
Any ideas on what I can do
