Hi all,
I am a semi-retired Engineer and looking to expand my hobbies. Long time builder of static models mostly armor, aircraft and an occasional ship. Also built many Stick and Tissue Free Flight models starting in the late 60s and sporadically through the years until now.
Regarding RC ships a few decades back I converted the Tamiya BB Bismarck to RC using a the guts from a cheap RC car, it actually worked quite well. That has been my only attempt as far as RC.
I am an Engineer at heart so I do like to tinker with mechanical and electrical systems.
When I am not busy with models I work on my old cars.
I am also a lifelong surfer and skateboarder. Modeling helps me recover from injuries lol.
