very nice, i've always fancied building a 1/8th scale chieftain tank just so i can rip up the stair case and upset the neighbours with the roar of some 3.5cc engines powering her but my love of boats is to strong so guess i'll stick to 'not' building them a bit more
oh i should mention i'm a nutter most of the time

These were taken around 1999 - 2000 in my at the time workshop. Still in the I’ve added something now time to try it stage. At that time it was working on the ramp operation.

Thanks Damien.
Another view of the motor set up for the ramp.
It was a cheap 6v cordless screwdriver cut down. The pully I made for another project, but used here, it worked so this is where it stayed.

To-Day I ventured into the garage looking for something else. The dumb barge plan, as per davidjt model. I came across my wife’s old pusher Tug, last used around a course in 2004. Now looking sorry for its self. Wheelhouse roof missing. All the electrics, running gear etc. I took out years ago. I didn't find what I was looking for, but I did find the plan for Wrigley 121. Using my lateral thing head, why not increase the size of Wrigley and recycle the old pusher then build one on my bucket list, a Paddler. It's one way of building a new model without increasing the fleet and getting shot of an old model.

Hi Damien. Just finished reading your build, “Lady of the Lake”. I'm even more inspired to revamp the old pusher into a Paddler.
Armed with the, MB mag + plan, and a quick run over with the measuring stick, possibly a snag boat type of variant. (if I get it wrong no one will know).
Now the chorus “We would“.

No excuses now plan the build when you think if I do it here's a big "IF" to get you started.

OK Damien, you’ve inspired me. My Wife just laughs at the suggestion, adding you will drop off your perch first then that will be something else I‘ve got to get rid of!!! So with confidence and support all round, I'm going to go for it!. Who says I'm going first she wants the patio extending.
As I get to my other models or find piccy's of them, I will add them to this thread. The Snag Boat look a like, will be a blog?
