Though I would share some photos I took from the Local Classic Car Show today, instead of going down the lake.

Oh can you guess which car's my fav?

lol why guess... most know I have a hard on for old Mustangs.. I even own a belt to hold my jean's up made from an original mustang Seat belt buckle lol!

The best bit of the day though had to be when a old guy asked me how much i paid for the stretched hummer! guess what i said?

Enjoy RR

The old ford reminds me of the first car I ever had it was a ford Popular, Canary yellow, my dad bought it for me for £10 off one of his mates down the docks, this was before MOT's, it was like a Fred Flintstone car you could see the road through the holes in the floor and it only had working brakes on 3 wheels but it got me to and from work when I was 17, I thought I was Graham Hill posing in it.

( those where the days).

Phil i'm pretty sure many of these classic car clubs attend round the country so probably not surprising you may have met them before, last years turn out was grim due to the weather we had, this year turned out to be quite a blast with a lot more on display then normal.

Be interested to see any more classic cars photos if anyone wishes to share.

Also posted a link (well seeing a photo of my gut over hanging my jeans is not pretty) of my belt an original ford product, you can pick them up from solid retailer or the official ford store where i got mine.

Hello Captain.
Understand that you are happy owner of a mk1.
Let it be said, the temptation is great.
Sold my mk1 because we bought a new place to live. No garage and little time to give it the care such a car deserves.
The day a new garage is ready. Hmmmmmm.
Now I drive a pt cruiser. it is ok but it is no escort mk1

Regards Ole
