The the problem with technology is that it is run by human beings and I am afraid that they make mistakes!

just seen the video of the train that came off the rails in spain, and you are right barrie.......human judgement that craps it up every time.....that video is horrendous.

A terrible tragedy Neil. I know that area and am deeply saddened by the stupidity that has caused this crash. Here in Spain, you get your money back on these fast trains if they are more than 5 minutes late, so I would bet that was why it was going so fast.
