Newcomer advice required

Hi, I have acquired two lovely model boats with internal power and steering gear. I’d like to get them up and running for my grandson, they both have steering and gear , one has a battery but neither have the remote controls. I’m not sure if I can upload pictures here to show you what I have? Any advice would be gratefully received! Thanks, Paul
