Bought it several years ago for $85 second hand not used for a long time as the lower blade guides needed attention as it wouldn't cut straight I've been putting it off because of the back pain it'll cause stooping down to fix it. Bit the bullet and posted it on a local buy swap & sell site for $45 gone within an hour. lol
It's new life is repairing cricket bats.
I bought it on ebay $199 with a discount $169 and free post.

That’s one for my wish list, but my new workshop is still space limited, and given I have got to slide in a full size table saw into my little room along with 3 other bench mounted power tools it’s a luxury I probably can’t really position anywhere...

I would love to have a double garage and have nice long work benches, central work bench, floor standing power tools down one wall, dust extraction systems etc etc...

Guess we’ll have to keep dreaming lol!

But that looks to be a reasonable priced tool the only bad thing owning a power tool is replacement parts, if found especially with my electric fret saw it chews up blades something cronic, and that’s generally trying to turn each blade to the machine upon change ( tension) he machine is a pain in my ass and constantly snaps blades if I’ve over or under tensioned Just that little fraction.

But looking forward to see this machine in action!

Everything slowed to a halt in life I've been very tired throughout the days no energy despite 8 1/2 hours sleep then it twigged lack of testosterone since a pituitary tumor the size of a large grapefruit removed in '94 I've been on 3 monthly injections in the butt, a specialist decided at 65+ I didn't need it that often and decided on 6 monthly.
Realization came when trying to cut timber to raise the new bandsaw and had trouble lifting and controlling 7 1/4" saw and was unable to lift the 18kg new saw.
Had a blood test to confirm the low level wednesday app't with Doc for results & injection next tuesday.

Bit the bullet and finished setting up the saw on the stand, the riser block is MDF on the base the risers sections of wooden double bed frame 1 3/4" x 2 3/4" on edge the top  is from the bed slats 3" x 3/4"crosswise.

Side on the tunnel can be seen.

Front on with the Vacuum underneath I like it Table height is great I don't have to bend over at all.

Finally I cut the curve from the end of the Vac hose and got a firm fit into the exhaust outlet of the saw.

I don't use them very often but they're so handy when needed.
As the one I sold was subject to rust in the rainy season even though not subject to the rain itself obviously the high humidity was causing it.
Whilst Looking for cloth backed vinyl on ebay wifey says we have some milium backed doorway curtains so I've cut a bag to shape just need some more contact adhesive tomorrow.
