I've not build one personally but a member of my old Club built one, he said it was a lot of work but made a nice model in the end.

To be honest when buying a kit sometimes its hit or miss on the kits quality... my Old man had a kit from New Maquettes to build the Oceanic cabin cruiser but he was less than impressed with the quality of the box of sticks to build it, £150 worth of scrap he would refer to the kit itself. It took him 3 years to finish but it did make an outstanding model to his collection.

Like all kits it usually comes down to the skill of the builder not the kit itself.although well made kits tend to make even more outstanding models!
