New member from Taunton Somerset

Hello everyone I'm new to the forum, I'm Steve from Taunton Somerset UK. I'm in the process of refurbishing an old Billings White Star that my son had many years ago and has been sat on the shelf in the Garage for about 10 or so years. I have not done a lot with model boats, most of my modeling has been on rc aircraft about 30 years ago so this is a new area for me. Photos of the boat will follow soon.

Hi Steve, welcome to the forum

  Hi there folks ! I too am a 'Newby' around watery stuff being in the process of moving over from air to sea ! Having to give up airborne activities due to my hands failing to respond as easily and as quickly as they used too - getting a bit long in the tooth now I guess. Anyway, am in the process of building a KRICK Police Boat WSP47 which is proving to be quite challenging. I have to keep trawling (sorry !) the WWW for advice, help and know-how. I have all I need to know about aircraft electrics but the boat side is a new venture. Now I have 'found' RC:MB I have come home.... 
I shall try the picture thing later but one step at a time..

Thanks barriew - just have to take a few now...still at the early build stage but maybe worth a look
