Sanding sticks Empty

Have you ever need to sand small diameter inside curves?

I've tried wet/dry paper on 3/16"dowel without much luck avoiding creases, an ebay search turned up these on bamboo sticks approx 1/8" diameter in the finger nail art section  4 different grits one end is pointed the other chisel shaped.
Which turned out to be useless as with little pressure the grit falls off

Thinking on larger curved sandpapers I also bought some SILICON CARBIDE 120 GRIT~POWDER~CERIUM OXIDE.
And with white glue I'll attach this to various sizes of dowel.

The sanding sticks are on UK eBay here http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/12-x-MIXED-WOOD-SANDING-STICKS-NORAL-NAIL-UNBRANDED-/261479235594?hash=item3ce160800a:g:ujkAAOxywFhTchXK

The powder comes from the UK I see, so should be available also.

I don't tend to buy sanding sticks I do however use some pine wood in different sizes and shapes and cut up 80 grit, and superglue the paper to the block I made up, when papers used up juts run a stanly blade down and peel off and re use, then just a combination of files and hand sanding through the grits, not forgetting the Dremel for harder more aggressive sanding activity.

Apart from the Dremel and normal cork block and sand paper I use 5 or 6 sizes and shapes of nail files.
