| The AGM Is on board this Sunday and I am going to find out more about it, I will be taking my Video camera to have a look around. I have never been on-board a steam ship before, so looking forward to see the Engine room and the Bridge, I think the engines are similer to the ones installed in the Titanic, I will post some video and pics for you all soon. silly I know but cant wait. Bernie. | |

| if you ever get the Waverley down your way, take a trip on her and have a look in the engine room..........it is a beautiful sight for sore eyes, and the rhythmic action of the engines are just mesmerising........I took my usual trip this summer and stood watching for about an hour. |

To upload to Youtube you need to put the video through handbrake first. This will cut the time to about 30 mins because it transcodes it to mp4. https://handbrake.fr/ If you need the settings I will help.

cheers, neil. Excellent, First download the handbrake via the link. Then I have found the best settings are as follows. Picture settings.
Anamorphic, None. Modulas 16 Width 720 Hight 400 Video codec H.264 Average bit rate 1500 2pass encoding Web optimized --- this will mean everybody can view it even on a mobile phone. Audio. Audio 128 Hope this helps and any more help needed just ask. Bernie.

| Today, I did go to the AGM of the SS SHEILDHAUL. And I was mentioned, in front of everybody as the new member, a bit blushing. I was glad to be recognised as the Crane operator that lifted there new Generator on board. I think I will be getting involved with the engine room, deck handling and maybe the Bridge as well, they are a great bunch of very enthusiastic volunteers, and looking forward to next Saturday, to be given a grand tour around the Ship (not as mentioned previously by Windy the Shythaul LOL but I do get his point) and Yes, it had a bit in the past, turning Seagulls into brown gulls, but it is looking great with all the hard work to bring her to a great Steam Ship. I did not get the chance to video anything but I will as soon as I can. Bernie | |

neil. Good man, any probs give me a call, Try it first it crunches the video down so uploads take very little time, have a look at my Channel. A half hour video will take about 1 hour to upload instead of 9 months Topvideos1001 on Youtube. I am having a grand tour of the SS Shieldhaul Saturday and will film it for everybody.
