| My coal barge is for sale, I don’t use it anymore and it would free up some spaceIt was originally made for something to tow, but then I decided to motorize it, so it is fitted with two 555 motors that drive two 50 mm props, twin rudders worked with a servo (included), there is also my home made bow thruster, this worked last time out but I can’t guarantee it.The wheelhouse comes to bits so that more detail can be added, I will also include the two 6v 7ah lead acid batteries that fit the boat. This boat is 40 ¼” X 12” and is heavy when ballasted up, it sits well in the water and has a good turn of speed. On the negative side, the bottom and both ends of the hull are OK, the two sides could do with a bit of filler in places and repainting.Asking price £130 PM me if interestedHow would you get the boat?, there are three choicesPick up from South CumbriaI could meet at J36 on the M6Could deliver to Haydock park show on the Saturday morningAlan | |
