50-001 "Rotary Service" Thames class lifeboat

(the one being built in the lifeboats section )

This vessel recently came up for sale and I am currently involved in an appeal to bring it back to the town of Lowestoft where it was built for preservation.

Hopefully all going to plan I shall be visiting the vessel in the next few weeks and getting photos of her then I shall post some up. If we get her back to Lowestoft I shall keep updating this thread with whats going on with her if folks would be interested.

Sadly I've not got the €25,000 required to buy her straight off so unless i get external funding there May be a chance she'll be scrapped. Will do my best though. next Will try hlf
