PostSubject: Model Slipway Tamar   Tue Jun 14, 2011 8:51 am

As I am retired I was looking to find something to keep my hands and mind occupied Rolling Eyes So I purchased this model and it was built over the winter period. Still one or two small things to add as yet but slowly getting there.

First kit I have ever built.

Here's a shot before it had got is bottom wet, and still some more bits to go on.. Smile The rails and stanchions were changed from the kit and are made from 3mm brass rod ( soldering is not my best activity Rolling Eyes ) and fixed through the deck for added strength, as I found that made as per kit they tended to be a little flimsy. Shocked

Its 1/16 scale at 1000mm length and 320mm beam. I think the wide angle lens I used has distorted the size to the room. Shocked Thanks for your comment.
