PostSubject: new toy   Sun Feb 12, 2012 3:17 pm

Bought a greatly reduced camcorder the other day for £17.50 with a card. going to use it at the pond for boat vidio's this year.

So, new toy, got to have a play, took it down to the lake and took a vid of the frozen lake, seagulls and trees. Rest of the club members drinking coffee in the club house, mmm.

Joined utube and uploaded the vid, now I want to see if I can put a link on here to go to utube.

This is very technical for me, if it works I am very sorry for the lack of boats Very Happy

A bargain indeed. Now for a quick lesson to improve your video. treat the camera like a still camera. Make each shot no more than 7 to 10 seconds, keeping the camera still during the recording. Do not zoom while recording and do not move the camera from side to side. These are basic rules, but if you try it, you will find your films are much better to watch.....give it a go.
