Hi Guys

Just an idle question - just wondering if the boat in the pictures below was done

for a diorama - would it be best done as painted plastic or rustable metal? If metal

could the rust be limited or would it get progressively worse? As I say I'm idling today.Very Happy

If you did do it in say steel and artificially accellerated the rust by say storing it suspedend above salt water and periodically splashing it with the said salt water the resulting rust could be arrested by 1st thouroughly rinsing the salt of in disstilled water (lots of it) then baking it bone dry in an oven and then sealing it with satin or matt laquer. A lot easier to make it from plastic and weathering it with a proper weathering kit one time consuming the other expensive yer pays yer money and takes yer choice matey
