Foundation Franklin

Hi Folks

I have to admit I have long liked The Foundation Franklin ex HMT Frisky and in 1924 The SS Gustavo Ipland

of The Atlantic Ocean Towing Company of Hamburg. Their plan was to tow barges to Argentina - or so I believe.

I would like to track down an image of her as SS Gustavo Ipland (maybe in new colours) or any details of that time.

I know this is a very tall order but I thought I'd give you lads a 'tug' first

Possibly someone has a contact on the German boards?

might have a way to the info?

Its been some considerable time since you posted this Dave and I wonder have you found what your looking for elswhere ? I've just read the wiki entry for this vessel and can easily see your fascination for this vessel.
