Hi there all, I'm Number 6 or Dave aged 40 from Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, member of Potteries MBC. Alas I've been single for 2 months after 18 years with my good lady. I'm regular on Model Boat Mayhem.
Been building models for as long as I can remember, current fleet includes: Graupner Sydney Star, MSW Fsb Tenby, 1/24 Trawler, 1/12 Solent Class Lifeboat, 1/32 modern tug, 1/24 pusher tug, Victor Class sub, Paula 3. To finish: MSW Our Lass 2, MSW baby Trent, 1/12 Severn Class Lifeboat, Caister or KNRM RIB Lifeboat and an 8ft container ship or supertanker! (still undecided, got the hull off Models By Design) Numerous hulls and other projects too. Dave. Smile

Hello dave looks like you slipped in under the radar mate so a belated welcome to the forum hopefully we'll see some pics of your fleet soon and maybe even a blog on your next build

Hey there Dave. welcome among us.
Model boat building is a hobby that never seems to disappear once you have tasted it. You can maybe take some small breaks but it will always come back.
You get a lot of nice friends too.
